Climb into the Dandenongs and you hit steep, damp, heavily treed blocks around Kallista, Kalorama and Monbulk. Head up the valley toward Healesville, Launching Place, Millgrove and Warburton and the rainfall climbs, the townships turn to weatherboard and the country goes rural. Out toward Coldstream and Yarra Glen it opens into flat, exposed vineyard and farming land.
